On December 5th, all third and fourth form students went to see the English play Rob and the Hoodies by the Vienna English Theatre at the Hartberghalle.

The story is about a British school boy named Rob, who is in charge of his school’s annual play. He holds an audition for the play he has chosen – the story of Robin Hood – and casts three of the students as Maid Marian, Friar Tuck and the evil Sheriff of Nottingham. But they all argue about changing the script. On top of all that, a dangerous street gang named The Hoodies keep bothering Rob. Will he be able to settle the arguments, organise the play and still stand up to The Hoodies?

The play was performed by just four actors who managed to play different characters each. You could tell they were passionate about their performance, as they were very energetic and funny. The play included many humorous scenes and even a part where the audience was included and students went on stage.

We found the play entertaining and definitely worth watching!
